The Adelaide 500 is the season-opener to the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship, a high-octane street circuit over 500kms, or two 250km races. Craig Lowndes won the first ever race and is one of only a few drivers to have competed every year since the beginning. The demanding circuit provides spectacular viewing for fans with grandstand seating and a large array of entertainment.
